For me, 2020 has been the year of saying goodbye to the past, and hello to the future. I’ve made a great effort to put out all my unreleased material in order to clean the slate and begin a new chapter sonically, mentally, and spiritually.

This Saturday I’ll be releasing an album called Kiss to History, that includes 19 tracks recorded between 1987 and 1994. The styles of the songs are varied, as is the quality. Rising to mind is a track called “Always”. The song has a somewhat lackluster vocal performance, outweighed by the strong lyrics and awesome guitar solo. Also included on the album is a wonderful duet I recorded with Bonnie Bisbee McNulty called “Point of Dreaming”, which was originally released on a cassingle- yes, a cassingle- in 1991. Overall, Kiss to History is a ton of fun and gives a good snapshot of my late-teens and 20’s.

NEWS FLASH! Pre-save Kiss to History on Spotify, and enter to win a CHIRP Radio prize bundle that includes an awesome t-shirt, magnet, and stickers.

There are 6 more older singles in the release queue after Kiss to History comes out, and after that, my retrospective releasing will be complete!

In early November, I’ll be releasing my brand new single “Hot Rod Stigmata”, which I took a break from recording in order to dash off this blog post! It features drums sampled from the n’er more suave Dylan Ryan, and a Nigerian gospel choir. I couldn’t make this up if I tried.

Be strong. Stay safe. Rock on!
